一、 Spandex fabric
There are many spandex fabrics, which are woven. Generally, plain woven fabrics are produced with covered yarn. They are used in weft or warp yarns, and then interweaved with other yarns to form warp or weft or even bidirectional elastic fabrics. The elasticity is generally 10-15%. Elastic woven fabric can be used as outerwear, trousers and other products.
In terms of knitting, weft knitting is adopted. In general, both bare yarn and covered yarn are used. However, naked yarn is the most popular one. It can be produced by adding spandex conveyor on the weft knitting machine. According to various weft knitted fabrics and feeding spandex in different ways, various kinds of elastic knitwear with different elasticity can be produced. According to the content of spandex, it can be divided into low elasticity (about 1-5%), medium elasticity (about 10-15%) and high elasticity (about 20%). Weft knitted elastic fabric can be used for inner, outer garment, sportswear, swimsuit, etc.
In terms of warp knitting, spandex has a long history in warp knitting, such as elastic mesh warp knitted fabric, bidirectional warp knitted fabric, Raschel warp knitted lace, satin mesh knitted fabric, etc., and bi-directional Satin Mesh zinavi fabric that can stretch in warp direction, weft direction and oblique direction. It is specially aimed at the needs of soft tight bodice. When warp knitting, spandex usually needs about 600 naked yarns After finishing with warping machine, it is stretched for 30-100%, and then it is wound on a special warp beam, which is used by warp knitting machine for weaving. Warp knitted elastic fabric is generally used in underwear, bra, swimsuit, sports such as ice hockey, polo, bicycle and other sports clothes, medical tights, etc.
Spandex fabrics and socks are also weft knitted. Naked yarn, wrapping and twisting are used. In order to avoid the spandex from exposing the surface, the tension should be controlled well during knitting. In recent years, spandex has been used to replace spandex yarn in ribbon, lace, leader, etc. to improve its quality and durability.
Number of spandex commonly used in weft knitting:
Generally, the number of spandex used in weft knitting is 20d, 30d, 40d, 70D, etc. with the market demand for elastic knitwear, the conventional count is not enough. At present, there are 18D, 36d, 50D and other products to fill the vacancy. In the past, the weight specifications of knitted elastic fabric were very small, and only stretching treatment was used in post finishing, so the tensile recovery rate of finished fabric was not required, and even the shrinkage requirement was not paid attention to In order to produce the best products, we need the most suitable specifications and raw materials.
Weft knitted elastic fabrics are mainly made of bare yarn, matched with other counterpart materials, and mostly produced by covering or lining. Therefore, the relationship between spandex and hand yarn is very close, and the application of count is also very important. If the final product needs to meet various data requirements, it can not be achieved if the configuration is not good.
